Welcome

Body In Balance Pilates Studio was designed and built as a personal Pilates studio for Shanti in April 2016.  In 2019 after some changes in her teaching schedule she decided to open the studio to the public and started teaching clients in this beautiful bespoke Cranford based garden studio.

 

This is the first Pilates studio to open in this area and at the time of writing this (August 2024) remains the only Pilates studio in Cranford.  The location serves, Cranford, Heston, Osterley, Southall, Norwood Green, Hayes, and Hounslow.   Several clients travel from places further afield such as Ealing and Chiswick.   International clients have been known to book-in for a privates class while visiting London,


All new clients, regardless of previous experience are required to have a full 90 minutes Postural and Movement Assessment (PMA) prior to booking regular sessions.   

 

When you choose Body In Balance Pilates the movements and Pilates exercises you will go through will be tailor to your individual needs.  One size does not fit all.

 

There may be many reasons you have decided to do Pilates.  Whether you want to overcome old injuries, reduce chronic pain, or simply want to sculpt and tone your muscles and feel revitalised, you can rest assured your Pilates programme will be very specific to your needs. 

 

Shanti has been a member of the Pilates Foundation since 2009.   Body In Balance Pilates Studio provides the highest industry standard apparatus built in Sacramento by Balanced Body.

 

Pre and Post surgery referrals and Physio referrals are always welcome and will be fitted into the existing client base depending on availability.   Shanti has experience working with clients post spinal surgery and hip replacements as well as clients recovering from mastectomy and reconstruction and pelvic floor issues in both men and women.
