PILATES MAT WORK CLASSES  Shanti teaches serval Pilates mat work classes at various locations around West London as well as offering one to one or one to two Private Pilates classes in the comfort of your home or place of work. Mats and small equipment are provided at all venues.   These classes are combination of pre-Pilates and classical Pilates.  They are suitable for improvers and general abilityBeginners will be welcome and will be accommodated with a modified programme.   A complete 6 week introductory Pilates mat work class runs at the Hogarth Health Club on a Thursday afternoon and is repeated every 6 weeks.   Physiotherapy referrals are welcome in all these classes.

Whether you are dipping your toe to experience Pilates for the first time or returning to exercise after a break, this is an opportunity to get to grips with the basic principals of Pilates and learn how to engage the correct postural muscles prior to movement.  These classes have male and female attendees.  Students include people returning to exercise and physiotherapist referrals. 

BESPOKE PILATES PROGRAMME  Personal Pilates programme in the comfort of your home £60.00/hour or £70.00/ 75 minutes. Session may be shared by two students.

PREGNANCY and POST PARTUM PILATES   Pilates has been found to be an excellet form of exercise during and after pregnancy.  Pilates builds strength and stability through the pelvic and shoulder girdles as well as strengthening the core muscles, vital to supporting your changing body.  When abdominal, back and pelvic floor muscles are toned, they support a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery.  The Pilates exercises will be modified as your body grows and changes.  During the first two trimesters there will also be a focus on engaging and strengthening the pelvic floor.  In the third trimester your Pilates session will focus more on learning to release the pelvic floor and prepare for delivery.

Post-Natal Pilates may be offered 6 weeks after delivery when pregnancy and delivery history have been considered.  Eight - ten weeks after caesarean section.   This will focus on pelvic floor exercises and gentle pre-Pilates exercises leading into a fuller programme that will help return your body to it's pre-pregnancy condition....or better!  Please note that it is essential that the mother has had her six week postpartum check prior to any programme.


MASSAGE  Pay as you go £60.00/hour or get one massage free when you book a package of 7 treatments for £360.00
